Replacement prop for an Ultrex

Post by jpinzala@att.net »

Hey all- My trolling motor prop went a couple rounds with some rocks and the rocks won. What's the best replacement/upgrade prop for the Ultrex. Thx in advance for any info. Tight lines....

idk bout aftermarket but the minn kota factory prop is mpk-38. im in the process of rebuilding a ultrex that got water damaged and just ordered one for me, i did go with the th marine eliminator prop nut as it helps quiet the ultrex wobble, the things a torquey critter when u use one first times vs old school 70lb thrust type junk and the propnut is a must have really... I'm gonna b stoked on spotlock bigtime as i often fish solo, also if yer like me and run the dang thing into all kinda stuff, take some silicone and run a bead around the shaft where it meets the bullet thats the weak point... hope that helps happy fishing brother im curious what other guys are running for props on it as far as aftermarket stuff i heard is out there...

I run the Kipawa prop when it's going to be weedy, and the stock prop when it's open water !! Great torque and weed cutting with the Kipawa !!
