My old 76 Monark got some curves it going to take some doing to re carpet it but I enjoy doing it.
I'm going to be well enough to do it in May and I have back up with my son if I need help. He a carpet and hard wood floor installer for homes.

You live in Ventura co. And you can't Google one shop that does carpet on boats.
I live in central Ca. We have a boat dealer that does outstanding carpet and upholstery work and there 6 miles from my house. I'm bet Ventura co. Got over 50 upholstery shops in your area. Worst answers I would think more of it's on you not looking for a local shop. GOOGLE it's free and easy.
There i go again not playing nice :D

Also I'm betting you give anglers marine a call if they can't help you with carpet I'm sure they would refer to somebody. It's pretty simple to do.

Well it pretty simple to use google were not based in southern Ca. for the most part so if I needed help I'd google what I'm looking for find the shops go visit two or three of them if you find the one you like make and appointment and go get it done. For me re carpeting a bass boat is easy mine a 76 Monark it got some corners and tight fits but it's nothing I can't handle. I've re carpeted 5 ranger boats in the last 15 years and all in the 80's easiest bass boats I ever installed carpet in.

Most of us on this forum are from NorCal, so that explains why we don’t know of many places in SoCal. There are plenty of places up here so it stands to reason with all the population down south there are places down there. Sorry I’m of no help to you. Good luck.

Mike - It’s not in Ventura County, but I remember a place in Castaic called Al's Boat Repair, Upholstery & Audio Shop. I spoke to them once years ago when I was interested in having my boat undergo a complete recarpet. They seemed like nice people, I just decided to hold off and never did it.

I’m not from the area but suggest an upholstery shop. An automotive upholstery shop will do that type of job. Can have the seats done at the same time

Hey Mike. If you don't find somebody in Ventura, ask Rick at Angler's Marine. He has recommendations. I'm closer to Last Chance in Hemet, and Dan said he has a guy that is the best of the best. He was right. My 2008 Champion 188 came out really nice when I had it done in the summer.
