TNT Teen Tournaments is designed to give young anglers an authentic tournament experience and allows them to be the stars of the show.
Frequently asked questions:
Anglers do not have to be a part of any high school or youth clubs.
There is a membership fee. The $50 membership fee gives the angler access to all TNT Events as well as all BBT Events and is good for 1 year from date of purchase.
There is a $20 per angler entry fee per event for all anglers.
Volunteer boaters are allowed to fish in TNT Events. Volunteers fish DO NOT count towards the teams weight.

I have to say I was very empress by this tournament. I wish I had this when I was a kid. Randy Pringle Tournament Director that works with John Hennecke really goes above and beyond for the kids.

While it's not easy to make a positive impression on me, I feel compelled to acknowledge the commendable work of an underappreciated hero - John Hennecke TNT Tournament Director not sure what her name is. After our initial distressing experience with a local kids fishing club, Hennecke Director has reignited my kids' passion for fishing. Her altruistic dedication to nurturing young members and facilitating their participation in tournaments has drastically enhanced our club's spirit. Without pomp or show, she effectively molds our community one fishing expedition at a time. Her overdue recognition is welcomed, and we're grateful to have her in our midst. I am one of the board members of San Joaquin BassMasters, Kimi Davis and we work close with Randy Pringle and BBT and TNT - we hold high respect for his organization as well as our youth bass club. We welcome any questions or concerns that any individuals might have, it's unfortunate when one individual is unhappy and parts ways with our club or any club. This right here is what is precisely wrong with the internet. Cameron Cardoza or the SJBM have not taken over the TNT. I have personally met with the board of SJBM and yes they have been instrumental in the creation of the TNT but their affiliation is as competitors. In my absence last year Randy hired Heather to be director of the TNT and Cameron Cardoza to assist as MC of the events. There is no doubt that Heather put her heart and soul into the TNT. Her passion for youth angling is beyond question. The problem is that all the work and all the passion did not translate into an increase in participation. Given that when this started Randy said he would give it 3 years to get off the ground Randy felt a change of direction was necessary. So Brian and Becky Barnes were hired for the 2025 season to see if we can get the TNT to a place that it makes sense to continue. Brian works with the Sheriffs Depart out of Ladds and has an excellent reputation in the industry. I personally have met with him a couple times already and believe he has the vision and ability to keep this thing going. On a seperate note the TNT was never created to police club drama. I am fully aware that like every other youth sports their is a tendency for the parents to ruin it for their children. Please keep these issues out of the TNT. We want these kids to have something that is local, that cares about them and gives them a platform to grow as anglers and young people. In addition I have agreed to come out of retirement and assist the TNT next season. I will make as many events as possible and do all that I can behind the scenes to make this a success.
