This hot weather is setting up great for the next couple of weeks of frog fishing on the California Delta:
The UFC and Snag Proof Open Frog Tournaments are coming the CA Delta the 27 and 28th and the 3 and 4th of August. This week we get to talk frog fishing with BASS Pro Ish Monroe and we get to go in-depth on his thoughts on how to fish with boat traffic and two changing tides that these events offer. He also fills us in on where you can catch his frog seminar next week as well. Ish has been at the big ICAST show in Orlando and we will hear about the products he saw at the show that will end up in his boat soon.
WE are chasing several anglers this week to get their high points of the ICAST show and you never know who we will end up grabbing.
The summer series NewJen tournament scheduled for this Saturday on Clear Lake has been cancelled due to the extreme heat so look for a new date to reschedule this event.
