If you can spare two hours of your time watch the video, it’s pretty thorough. The Readers Digest version is the leadership of MLF, mostly Boyd Duckett and Gary Kline lack consistency with their decisions and the rules seem to change on the fly. Whenever Worldwide would question anything, Boyd would answer with “you gotta catch ‘em better”. The severity of Watson’s fines and suspension are also discussed. The logic behind dropping from 80 anglers to 50 is somehow supposed to grow the sport, according to Boyd. Boyd claims that once the field is dropped to 50 anglers, there will be at least 25 that are earning seven figures annually. They talk about how MLF has been losing money with the BPT while making money with the Tackle Warehouse tour. Entry fees for BPT are $5700 and they fish for a first prize of $100,000. On Tackle Warehouse the entry fee is $5000 and first prize is $80k. Much is said surrounding conflicts of interest like Boyd competing instead of focusing on his job as CEO. To me the biggest FUBAR aka f’ed up beyond all recognition is Duckett Rods sponsoring at least one of the top pros. They don’t call him out by name, but they’re referring to Jacob Wheeler. They also discuss how much more generous sponsors are to anglers fishing the BASS Opens. That probably explains why a guy like Ish Monroe left MLF to compete in open events, that’s my guess anyway. There’s much more that I failed to mention. I highly recommend listening to it.

MLF asked 80 Pro Fishermen, (some were even "Begged") to give up what they had worked hard to have with B.A.S.S. and FLW to come participate and help develop the MLF. Many BIG promises were made, some kept, others not so much, and then the 2 "OWNERS" even competed against them !! NOW, MLF basically DUMPS 25 of those and leaves them out in the cold so to speak and forces them to now have to earn back what they previously had with BASS and FLW !! I'd be mad as HELL if that happened to me !! Then, they, MLF seem to change the rules at will to fit their narrative and won't let the members question anything and won't have a discussion with the anglers who question anything !!

It’s interesting that 9 out of 10 anglers agree with Worldwide offline, but can’t do so publicly because of fear of heavy fines.
