Study shows dangerously high levels of toxins in fish from Northern California rivers

Some freshwater fish in Northern California are testing for dangerously high levels of toxic chemicals, according to a new study by the nonprofit Environmental Working Group.

The EWG says it is finding dangerous levels of PFAS and PFOS in fish that are found in rivers located across northern California

A toxicologist from the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment joined KCRA's morning show and recommends people follow fish consumption advisories for the Feather and San Joaquin rivers.

Dr. Wesley Smith also urged women of childbearing age and children to not eat any largemouth bass from the San Joaquin River.

Well somebody going to end up throwing the Almond famer under they have been for the last 30 years saying there destroying the water ways by the chemicals all farming uses. But the almond farmers are the easy target for what happened over the years. This bulls@#t been going on a very long time . It's not just San Joaquin river people. So yes this is old news. But they keep printing because you'll keep reading it.

That’s a tough one. What option is there? The year they did not spray the entire delta was plugged up and unusable

Cows will eat the heck out of the hyacinth. Cost to harvest it is probably the weak link.
