FLW Pro vs Co payouts
FLW Pro vs Co payouts
Can anyone explain to me why the Co Angler at the Delta tournament made more money than the Pro winner? Thanks in advance.
Re: FLW Pro vs Co payouts
That pro payout number on the MLF site is now blank, so maybe that was an error?
Actually 2nd place is the only pro payout we see at this moment on the results page, so maybe there was a glitch in what was posted?
We will update the post here to match theirs.

Re: FLW Pro vs Co payouts
What I saw was the Pro won $21,000 and change and the Co won $33,000 plus.
Re: FLW Pro vs Co payouts
I just looked. All the payouts are listed.
Re: FLW Pro vs Co payouts
the Pro Gets a check for 21,000. the Co gets a Certificate valued at 33,000. he may sell it for 26,000-28-000..maybe less. And the Co has to wait to sell it, may take up to 6 mo. before he receives the money. I would rather have the check at 21,000..Also, it would me more if Pros showed up in the West... pay out would be double....

If the pro is a owner of a new Phoenix boat “ & is signed up for that contingency ? will he also win a new boat certificate ?
Re: FLW Pro vs Co payouts
just think what the payout would be if 160 boats showed up for pro instead of 60? 40,000- 50,000 thousand instead of
21,000.. My dad and I won a Anglers Choice TOC at Oroville and got a Bass Cat Sabre Certificate.. Valued at the time with a 150 opitmax for 28,500. We had it for sell for 26,000 for 2-3 mo. then we sould the certificate to a guy in Sac.
for 21,500. Certificates are great, you can upgrade or get a good deal on a boat.. But a lot of buyers for a bass boat
are impulse buyers, they want to see the boat and use it instead of waiting 6 mo. after they buy the Certificate from

Perfect example is go to new boats classified and you will see MLF co angler that won the Delta event in April.
He stated with 33,000. he is now down to 25,000.. still has it. No money in hand. Also the winner of this last week
co angler has his certificate for sale for 30,000...

I Hope they do too. If i get the chance again to win a certificate and if it had a 115 hp on it i would order the boat
and upgrade, pay the difference to a 150hp and sell it. Its easier to sell the boat on hand then a paper certificate..
Think you will get alot more too...
