Lake Oroville fisherman assaulted saturday 9/21

We had a club member assaulted in the far north arm near the 5mph zone
our member is a 81 years old gentlemen who fished solo that day, someone jumped in his boat
and punched him in the side of the head. Park rangers were notified, we have a partial description if anyone saw this please PM me. We heard there were a few boats that witnessed it ..

Wow. Very sad to hear. I hope this guy is cought and prosicuted. How could anyone thiink hitting a 81 year old man is ok.

It was a big guy with red hair and red beard
Possibly in a dark skeeter boat. Does anyone have any information. This POS jumped onto a 81 year olds boat and hit him in the face and left him dazed and confused Let get this guy !!!

Battery on an elder citizen can be a felony, Penal Code section 386 PC. Punishable by 5 years state prison. If you were in the boat with the man who did the battery and did not intervene or report it, you now have become an accessory to a felony, also punishable with state prison time. Is it really worth it to become a felon because some little old man spouted off his mouth?

Our club member that got assaulted is a 5’4 inch 81 year old man! I hope this POS really feels like a big man for doing this! Four boats witnessed this, please come forward if you are one of those boats so we can put this POS and his partner in jail where they belong.

If it was unprovoked, I agree 100%. Prosecute him to the fullest. Always 3 sides to the story though.

I was told after they do there would be an arrest
