French angler fishing in LA area

Hi there,

I am a french pike angler.
I will spend a week in Brea and I’d like to go bass fishing.
I would consider pond and lake fishing. I’d like to go fishing on the water but have no clue if boat rentals are possible in the area.
Would you have ponds or lakes to recommend?
I would also love to go fishing with a guide for a day, if you can recommend me someone, it would be much appreciated.
