I was wondering if anyone has had their ranger fenders freshened up with new jell coat? My boat is a 2001 vx520 and it's in cherry condition and the trailers in great shape too, but the fenders are dull and need some freshening up. Is it affordable and or even worth it? If so, where is a good shop in the bay area to get them done?
Thanks
Rich

They aren't in the Bay Area, but it's worth the drive to take it to Bragg's Marine in Anderson. 530-244-2545

I agree with Bragg's. The cleaned up some nicks in my Ranger boat and did a perfect job. They will do the same on a trailer. They are a certified Ranger repair shop. They have all the colors and do perfect matching.rico wrote:They aren't in the Bay Area, but it's worth the drive to take it to Bragg's Marine in Anderson. 530-244-2545

I had a 2001 518, used the Protec kit like mentioned above. The wet sanding, a buffer and their chemicals did wonders for the oxidation. Check the vids.
