Oroville water conditions?

Post by lfg »

Anyone know the water conditions yesterday for the wwbt event. and what areas they were targeting? Would like to go out tomorrow but would like to stay away from where the majority of the boats where fishing

Water conditions were really good. South Fork has lot of color but looks perfect to me. I know of plenty of fish still caught there. Rest of lake looked good. Floating wood to watch out for but it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. There was boats scattered all over the lake.

Surprisingly, much more clear than I thought it would be. Some places in the main lake had 3-4 of visibility in the morning before winds picked up. Murkier up in the Middle Fork. Never found any "muddy" water. Can't speak for the whole lake though. Sure some places were worse.
