I was fishing and noted the weight on the bottom of the frog (bobby's perfect) starting to fall off. I cut it off with idea to fix it. This happened with a 2nd frog and I did the same thing. I fished a third frog but lost the weight before noting if it was loose or not. (these are old frogs so these are not defective, just old.)
Has anyone found an EFFECTIVE way to fix the weight back to the frog? Also, has anyone found a way to keep the weight on for a "new" frog? (I did a search but found nothing to this effect posted.)
I'm thinking superglue for the weight, maybe rubber cement over the weight to hold it on? Maybe epoxy, or is that too stiff?
Thanks.

I'd just use some mend-it.

GE silicone caulking. Or any clear room temperature vulcanized silicone caulking.

Super glue easiest dont overthink it and when my weights fall off take I splitshot weight I don't remember what size but pinch it somewhat flat then superglue it where its supposed to go works great I just wish I could remember what size splitshot to use

Gel superglue. If you have more old frogs, just tear the weight off and superglue it back on before you fish it.
