Trash Fish??

What set up do you guys fish your Trash Fish on? Do you let the bait sink to the bottom before retrieving it? Thanks

Throw it with a swimbait rod and reel. Rig it with weighted EWG hooks, how much weight depends on how fast you want the fall to be and how deep you want it to run. Fish it like any other swimbait but you can get it threw grass easier since it's weedless. You can let it sink all the way before starting the retrieve or count it down to the desired depth and start the retrieve.

6" on a 8/0 3/8oz beast hook 15-20 # floro most of the time i use 20#
7-8 ft rod med heavy
let it sink to the bottom dont be afraid to deadstick it once in awhile
swim it by the boat to get your reel speed down the tail will kick just right at a slow speed
