I found a nice rod on the Pit Arm on Shasta Lake on Friday Afternoon, February 17th. Identify the rod and and we will make arrangements to return it to it's owner.

Lost a Loomis (can't remember the #) but it collapsed into the handle with a Shimano Curado (if I recall correctly). Was throwing spinnerbaits from the back at an FLW a few years ago. Tried to snag it, but never did. Couldn't possibly be it - could it?

Looking closely at the guides and butt I see some indications that the rod may have been in the water for some time, so if you lost a rod in the dim historic past, this may be it.

Well if anyone is interested, that wallet had $500 in it, was lost under the Pit River Bridge. Good Luck. The prop and shaft came out on friends boat when he backed off the throttle in about 100 feet of water. During the drought years I went and looked for it with no luck.

Pit River Rod still unclaimed.........

In all seriousness, Have to agree with thukidad. Your a stand-up guy!

I remember the first time I saw someone retrieve a rod and reel, and actually was in a Tournament on the Delta! Don IOVINO, dropped a spoon down in 10 ft of water and within 5 min had his rod and reel back! That was 20 years ago.... 3 years ago crappie fishing with my 7 yr old at the time his snoopy rod went in the drink at konataye, clearlake and I grabbed a lv 500 and went to work in 27' of water in 5 min BINGO! just fyi...
