Top Stick Tour PIRU Feb 25

Post by DL »

We are less than two weeks away from the kick-off event for the 2012 season. There will be a bunch of new teams fishing with us this year, as well as those that have been with us in the past.

Piru does inspections so make sure you are clean and dry. Sign-ups will start at 4 am and will be done at the gate this year. Go to http://www.topsticktour.com for all the details. You can also follow us on twitter at https://twitter.com/topsticktour.

See you on the 25th!!

You can pay at the lake, or send in your entry. Whichever you prefer.

At this point do not send your entries in, please do it at the lake. We will not be around next week to receive them and I don't want a lot of confusion. Please sign up at the lake.

We are looking forard to starting the season and see all you the "old" guys and a bunch of new guys.

Kevin all of the info is on the website under Tournament News, I just got done reading it. I must say pretty cool website with the videos and info for the season, easy to navigate!

The Top Stick will be paying 75% at the ramp + 100% of all option monies, the 25% held back during the regular season is put into the TOC prize pool plus MORE sponsor CASH at the fish off in August.

For you math geniuses  out there it works like this:

75% of Basic Entry + 25% Held back for TOC
= 100%
+ 100% of Option money
+ Additional Cash from sponsor
= Lots of scratch paid out at the fishoff

So without boasting we are paying back 100%, we actually are paying back more than 100%. When an organization actually gives sponsor contributions back the anglers, you can see it in participation and loyalty. This is the core of what John has tried to do since he started running tournaments. And with the help of Columbia Specialty Company, we are able give back more than we bring in.
