La Quinta is on March Lane right off I-5 at Ladds. It's probably one of the better hotel areas...but it's still Stockton.

Your best bet is the Hilton off of March a few blocks east of 5. Lighted and gated parking lot. Its where bush stayed when visiting Stockton.

Rusty

Look into the cabins out at B&W Resort on hwy 12. Will take ya about 30 minutes to drive to Ladds, gas and food on the way at Flag City. They are nice people, the cabins aren't fancy but clean and your boat is parked right outside your door. If you have several buddies you can get a cabin that sleeps 8 or 10.

Wouldn't leave my boat overnight on March Lane in Stockton and if I did I wouldn't sleep a wink!!!

Hope this helps ya!

Stockton....Not that bad? Live right by Ladds...Couple years ago hooked up and drove away with boat from driveway... had taken receiver off trailer...chained up to trailer and took it anyway ... heard it, woke up, saw it being drug away called 911 took four hours to get here :( never got it back...got new boat, backed boat into driveway then parked truck across the driveway so no one could hook up to it without stealing truck first....broke into boat six times...even with nothing on it to steal....8 cameras around house perimeter, didn't stop them...now just leave it in dry storage at Ladds.

There is a Comfort Suites in Lathrop and a Hampton Inn as well in the same location, I have stayed in both with no issues, only about 20 min to Ladds at most.

I've stayed at The Quality Inn right behind in and Out dozens of time of the the years. Its kind of a dump, but its cheap and safe. I've nevr had a issue with theft or anything else. I usually ask for a room on the west side of the building. There are outdoor plugs and its right in view of the office. On weekdays its only $54 a night.
