Need a good bass boat mechanic near central coast

Post by bmshepherd »

Everywhere I take my boat, they always seem to be clueless about bass boats.I'm tired of paying people to play the guessing game and have them tell me everything is good when I know there is problems. If anyone knows of a good bass boat mechanic, who understands electrical, 2-stroke outboards, and props/jack-plates, please let me know...Thanks, Brad S. (805)-423-3037 Central Coast CA.

I never found one anywhere near Santa Barbara so I drag my boat down to Anglers Marine where the job gets done right from the get go.

Another vote for Anglers Marine. You may have to drive a little further but your boat will be fixed right the first time

You won't find a better mechanic than Nelson Gong anywhere. You will be able leave his shop knowing things were done the right way.
His number is (831) 663-9322

Nelson has serviced my boat since new in 2000 and you wont find a better mechanic or person for that matter. Plus his shop is only about a 15 minute ride from the House but you will have to make an appointment. The only problem is pulling back out onto San Miguel Cyn with your boat it can be a little tough.

If your motor is a Merc and it's under warranty, do the right thing and take it to The Boat Doc. I wouldn't mess with non authorized mechanics no matter how good they may be.

Prune Dale is almost 2 hours north, 106 miles, of Paso Robles. Defiantly wouldn't call it the central coast.

I live just below the Keiser Plant off Old Stage Road Northeast of Salinas and weve always called it the Central Coast.
Its that white area you see in the hills where they mine Dolomite.
