Not good for Skeet Reese!

KVD is leading the last leg of the AOY post season tournament. Skeet still leads the AOY points as of today but KVD will make him win it or loose it. After the great start of the season for Skeet it might be a greater come back for KVD. Go Skeet!!

I am a fan of Skeet and KVD I am rootin' for Skeet this time and Aaron. Can Aaron win the event and Skeet still win AOY? I would like to see that go down.

With the type of season Skeet has had, it would be a shame if he lets it slip away. But then again, who better else to lose the AOY title than KVD?

Here's my take ,Skeet would be the MVP/AOY and the post season could be an Allstar Shootout type event where everyone starts even, winner takes all pot. Skeets had the best ever season of any Bassmasters in history and could lose it 2 yr's in a row due to the new format. The Classic is where all this drama belongs not in some crazy format like this

This doesn't reflex who really had the best overall year. Hope Skeet can hold on, GO SKEET!!

I can see your point, but this new format was put into place well before the season's started. So this could have happened to anyone. I actually like the new format, it adds an element of surprise and intensity. Its also great for the sponsors that put alot of money into these guys.

On Basstrak skeet is in 6th right now, hopefully he can catch some good ones. Martens is in 3rd and moving up...

Its going to be interesting either way, all three are great anglers.

IT WOULDNT BE A GOOD OLD BOYS TOURNAMENT IF BASS DIDNT HAVE A FEW GOOD OL BOYS UP IN THE TOP.....SKEET WILL GIVE A 110PERCENT EVERYDAY ALL DAY,THATS JUST WEST COAST FISHING GO WHIP THAT *** SKEET.....

I am a big fan of both Kevin Vandam and Skeet Reese but Skeet absolutley dominated the points race all year long and deserves the title. Angler of the year is exactly what it says......ANGLER OF THE YEAR......THEEEEEE YYYYEEEEAAAARRRRR!!!! Not the week and a half show down! Skeet Reese crushed his competition ALL YEAR LONG and deserves to be rewarded for it. BASS, I think you need to go back to your original format with a regular season AOY.
