Try getting in touch with Jigs. He had a sweet one listed in the classifieds here and on calbassin.

I've got just the thing for you. Turnkey welded Modified V 16 ft Gregor. Working live well, 55 lb thrust Minn Kota Powerdrive trolling motor - remote control or pedal with quick release, 2 new starting batteries, 2 new trolling batteries. 70 hp Merc compression tested at 140 on all three holes - two brand new fishing seats. Could be used as a crossover for pond boat to medium water boat and even big water on nice days.

Glad to let you test drive it and compression test it.

Comes with galvanized trailer with all new stainless bolts.

Personally a kickboat is the better way to go. Easier to carry, cheap and ultra quiet in the water

I have a 10' pelican. Its great for ponds and small lakes. Right now, it just has a trolling motor, but I'm getting a small outboard soon for the bigger lakes. 10 hp is the largest it can handle. I've been on it at Lake Oroville, New Melones, Collins Lake, and some smaller places that will remain nameless ;). I'm from Louisiana originally so getting in the water in a tube is not our idea of fishing (gators, snakes). It holds up to 500 lbs. Me and my gf catch our fair share (c&r) out of it. I'm not ashamed of dropping it @ a launch either. There are some like it listed on c-list. I'm getting a bigger boat next year though.
Ps. For the haters: I outfish you in your 20' rig, too.
