Looking for Boat Insurance

Post by Skunkedagain »

Need to get some boat insurance, and want to give my $$ to someone local if that's even possible. Any contact information to some would be a great start.

Hi Adam,

I strongly recommend Melissa Messer. She heads the Folsom Office of Liberty Mutual. They cover my boat, cars, home and rentals. She also insures most of my co-workers and family.

What I LOVE about her is that she is always contacting me when, for example, the market goes down and so the rebuild value on my home is less. I.e she looks out for my dollars which is a big deal to me.

She is at: (916) 294-9518 x 59004, or Melissa.Messer@LibertyMutual.com

13405 Folsom Blvd., Ste. 210
Folsom CA 95630

Best of luck to you,

I would recommend Sawyer & Cook, 909-793-2814, ask for Gayla.

1-800 BASS BOAT, ask for Stan or Ken. Best in California, hands down. You knock off your lower unit at the delta/colorado river, no questions asked, you boat will be fixed. Plus they cover up to 5 k of lost tackle, does your insurance do that. AAA won't wont cover any accident/lose on any river! Great customer service and great prices.

Look at the top right of this page and support a sponsor of Western Bass called Fish-on insurance. Ask for Dawna and mention my name and she will take care of you.

I've been with them since 2001 and when I needed help, they were there for me very quickly.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks, Rod Brown

I would recommend Sawyer Cook as well, but Gayla and Al are no longer there..........

I have not had a chance to talk to the replacement staff but there is no way that they can touch the service Gayla and Al provided.

That being said I cannot recommend a company, other that FishOn - and that's due to me knowing personally how they charge and provide excellent customer service.

1-800-bassboat. I just spoke with Stan today, his quote was almost $200 less than my current company and has better coverage. I am switching as soon as my current policy is set to renew.
