Does anyone know if they have been doing zebra mussel checks at the public launch at berryessa these days? My boat is all wet from the rain since I have a leaking boat cover and I don't want to drive all the way to berryessa and then get turned back.
Thanks.

I talked to Debbie, at Pleasure Cove, yesterday. She said that they ask you when and where your boat was in the water last. That will determine weather they inspect your boat and give you a sticker for the windsheild or just give you the sticker. She did not say if there is any charge.

If you need further info call Pleasure Cove at 707-966-9600.

There has been a ranger intermittently at Capel Cove. He just asks where you have been and you sign a form. If you have been to an infested waterway, he might inspect but I've never been inspected. Just had to sign the form and launch.

Does anyone really do boat checks? Fill out a form and hand over your money please!!!
At least everywhere I have been. Pardee might be different but I cant confirm.
Was at Berre\yessa 2 weeks ago and I wasnt even asked about it at Markley Cove when I paid to launch.

i have launched out of capel 3 times this year so far. No inspection at all.
i have not been up there lately due to the fact on my last outing, i launched out of capel and some jerk slashed my trailer tire!!
This is the first time i have experienced anything bad at this ramp. But going forward I will be launching out of markly due to the fact of the safety for my ride home!

Excellent Information, thank you, I'm up there all the time and haven't seen this yet. Says you could get a citation without displaying BOR Certificate....fishnhunt21 wrote:You can print out this form online and sign. Than put on your dash and you are good to go...
