Re: Way to Go Jwick!!
Thanks guys...
As u may have saw I failed on day 2. Gottem on day 3 to salvage a halfway decent tourney.
I am the king of first day starts and unfortunately the king of the 2nd day woes. I started 2nd, 3rd, and sixth in the 5 events(National Guard and US Open) I fished this year and did not finish in the top ten in any.
The worst thing about all this is that I missed the FLW Cup by 4 spots. Probably due to the 80th spot finish on the Delta. Nice.
A couple things for guys who want to get started on the co side or even the pro side. The NG events were priceless for me. I practiced with guys like Brent Ehler, Gabe Bolivar, and Mike Phua and have had opportunities that did not work out to fish with Rusty Salewske when he won on the Delta and Neil Russell when he won on the Columbia River. Also, I fished with John Billheymer on Clear Lake day 1. Dude is a stud and one of the coolest guys I have ever fished with. Period.
Thanks Jeremy, Nick, John and Tony.
I will be fishing the pro side on the Stren next year and maybe the co side on the Tour.
Thanks again.
