Funny might not have been the right word choice.
Dont get me wrong, I am not knocking that one bit. :)
I fish out of a kayak as well
I am just raising a point that its not the boat and equipment as much as the great fisherman who would like to fish this event that might not be able to afford to.
I think it would be great to see someone win it out of an aluminum boat.
Thanks for raising the point.

I don't know if this is an option, but, wish we could collect $ to send 1 or 2 anglers. Western Bass sponsered anglers at Amistad, awesome. I'm not wealthy by any means, but I can help some. This format was made for guys like Bassindon. Maybe this new nationwide concept is out of reach for many. ONE MORE TIME DON!!!

Just give us a address where to send the tackle to for the auction, we have some stuff to still get rid of also.

It would be a shame if the guy who won the very first one can't go.
Could we all chip in? I'm in for $100.

All you guys are real cool for trying. It seems that this is to short of notice for many to pull anything together.
I would love to do one more but there are a lot of other guys that deserve to go too. I hate to put ANY of you out of your way for just me.
I think you guys are all AWESOME to even think about it :D
If something can come together in time, I will go in a hart beat.

Don.

PS Mark Poulson no problem buddy  I think the other Don
(Don Osborne) is having problems too and may not make it, so send that 100 on his way
