*HOW DO I BUILD A BALANCE BEAM*

Post by Riverdawg »

I Want to build a balance beam, I saw one on a show. Alan Fong was using it while fishing stripers in the Sac River.

I dont remember how it was all put together.

Pictures would also help me alot.

Im sure there is a way to build one fairly cheap.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT.

Thanks in advance

It is used to balance your rod while bait fishing in the river.

Ya ya I know BAIT???

Im taking my neice and daughter out and this is the best way for me to put them on fish. They havent quite got the whole casting thing down yet.

anyway, It looked like the rod balanced about 1/3 of the way up against it.

the fish bites the rod pivots forward and the fish feels no resistance until you burry the steal.

ANY HELP, WOULD BE AWESOME!!!!!

Thank you

Will fish and tackle in auburn has a fork thing that you can attach anywhere on the boat. Then a notched thing you tape to your rod. Best system I have used, and cheap.
