That's some big weight sat for those 3 tournaments with all the tournament boats plus all the FLW out there prefishin. You must had to wait in line to get to your spot.
Great job considering all the boat which was out there.

Thanks for that.. but I think your "cost" figures are incorrect

100% cost is 130/or 90 plus options depends on what circuit you fish.. check it out
http://www.100percentbass.com/event_fees.htm

Anglers choice cost is 175.00 /120 plus options
check it out
http://www.anglerschoice.com/Team175Ent ... gion1.html
http://www.anglerschoice.com/SemiProEntryForm.html

Furture pro cost is .. 90.00 plus options
check it out

If we are going to post topics that have so much controversy .. we have to get it right!

Thanks to all circuits, Vince, Mark and Bob and the staffs for their hard work and effort they put into this sport so we as anglers can chase our dreams!

Marty wrote:As usual after each tournament I review the standing of the tournament that I just fished and where do I stand with the rest of field. As usual I’m way down there. But this was an unusual Saturday on the Delta because there were three tournament on the same day. I reviewed the other two tournaments to see if I fished them where would I have finished. I was surprised to find out that I would have Tied for 7th in one and the other I would have been 20th place. The big boost came when I thought these other two tournaments were Pro Team events.

Then I noticed that the Anglers fishing the Future Pro Tour did better through out of all the standing. Check them out!

Future Pro ………………………. 100 Percent ……………………………. Angler Chose
1st 32.85 lbs, $4,000 ………….1st 31.57 lbs, $3,845 …………………..1st 23.4 lbs, $1,775
2nd 29.61 lbs, $2,800…………. 2nd 29.10 lbs, $2,085 …………………. 2nd 18.99 lbs, $832
3rd 28.76 lbs, $1,500 …………. 3rd 28.45 lbs, $775 ……..…………….. 3rd 18.6 lbs, $476
4th 28.71 lbs, $1,300 …………. 4th 25.09 lbs, $740 ……………………. 4th 18.09 lbs, $0
5th 28.31 lbs, $1,100 …………. 5th 25.03 lbs, $845 ……………………. 5th 17.74 lbs, $0
Big Fish 12+lbs ………………… Big Fish 10.31 lbs ……………………… Big Fish 6.46 lbs
These are some astonishing numbers but we have to keep in mind this is only one day.

Angler's Choice Pro Teams basic entry fee is $175.00, which includes your entry into the big fish pool. There are $15, $30 and $40 options that are paid back to the fisherman 100%. If you pre-enter you are all in with $260.00 and if you register at the ramp it's $270.00. Compare apples to apples and you can see where the real money is! Just setting the record straight.

There was an open team tournament that was scheduled on top of my AC East Delta out of Ladds that drew 20 boats, so that added more to the mix. DFG mistake??????????????

Saturday was my personal best day ever. Had some great fishing. I wish I was in the tournament. I had two 7 lbers, a 6, several 5 1/2. The best 5 was about 30 lbs. My PB was 6 lbs, now 7 lbs :)

Over all a great day to be on the water.

with the payouts as they are could you imagine if AC and 100% drew 100+ boats what the payouts would be. I'll bet they would be close to the payout for the Stren???

I don’t get your point, Marty. What do you find so astonishing about the numbers? The FPT had over 4X as many boats as 100% & over 10X as many as Anglers Choice. Even if you assume the skill of the average 100% or AC angler is higher than the average FPT angler, given the totals for angler participation, the results seem normal.

I also don’t get why you’re including the paybacks. I’m not sure if you’re trying to say that the payback from FPT is good or bad. For example, compared to 100% - the total cost is just over ½ as much, yet there are over 4 times as many boats & 1st place pays $165 more.

So – what is your point?

Guy's
I think Marty was speaking more of the weights, rather than the payback.. Granted he posted payback too.. But I think he was just proud of the Future Pro's for having weight as good as the pro's

Marty wrote:Gee – I guess I have to apologize if I upset anyone for listing numbers that are already public. What was my point – was that the guys that fished as Future Pro’s did real good job this weekend and I was comparing them to the Pro’s that fish the big league. Yes I listed the costs and winnings - would have it made you fill better if I left the money off?

Bass Tournaments is a competitive sport both fishing them and running them.

Marty
No the money posting is ok in my book ..My problem with the post was the miss infomation being put on the internet...as I said your "cost" numbers are not correct. You really need to edit them
So many people and more so the newby fisherman, just don't understand.. and the rumors fly!

come to think of it .. it would be nice if all orgs .. posted a set payback..sure would put a end to all the BS

Your right to a point about the bigger weights .. but you have to remember one thing dealing with numbers

FPT had 350 anglers fishing
100% had 80 anglers
Anglers choice had 32 anglers

Very good chance there are going to be bigger weights with larger fish caught as you have 3 times plus, as many lines in the water

I understand what you were trying to compare.. buy it does damage to all orgs and our sport when posts like this are out there.

Like someone said in a above post .. the pay backs would be off the charts if 100% or Anglers had 175 boats.. Really give this sport something to talk about, wouldn't it ? Just for S&G.. maybe someone could post this number if Bob had 175 boats, I think I would fall off my chair!

And this is just my opinion 30 percent of more of the anglers fishing FPT should be fishing pro teams anyway!

Again .. my hats off to all circuits!!

What I want to know is why all three events on the same day? plus all the boats pre fishing for the FLW. Must have been a zoo out there.

Brian.. and I think Mr Greene said there was also a open team event out of ladds the same day.. yep things get hammered

But the cool thing about bass fishing is they are all released to be caught another day just alittle smarter!!
