Is the Comfortroll your only option for a recess kit? Is there a company here in SoCal that I can pick one up without shipping?

I think there is one called Flatfoot - you'll prolly have to order this online as well. If you're in socal I believe that Anglers Marine carries one built by Phillips products. If paying shipping is an issue, then check around the different online sites and see if they offer FREE shipping for orders over $xxx amount.

Tackle Warehouse sells Comfortroll and they have free shipping on orders over $50.

Tom Phillips carries them Phillips fishing products 951-371-3138. I installed one on my 99 ranger . I love it, it wasn't hard to install neither. asked Jorden down at anglers about cutting my deck and he showed me a champ they were installing one on, and broke out the jig saw and started cutting away. My back hasn't felt better after a day of fishing, since installed
