I will be putting out a video. "How not to get A bad wrap" My other boat is wrapped by another company for alot less money, and twice the quality! At first I thought it was just the job they did on my boat, but I have filmed 6 other boats from unsatisfied customers, and the number is growing. This will probaly get zapped since they are a site sponsor.

Other than the overall design what is wrong with the wrap?

Scratches on the top cap........................................ Deep blade marks that will not buff out........... Wrap needs to come over the top cap and cut with CARE.

I have had 4 boats wrapped by them and a truck and they did a great job on all of them. I do not believe in coming on a public forum and trying to ruin someones business. I know someone on here did not like it when they got blasted on here not too long ago and I will not mention any names.

Funny how some people hide behind their computers...

All that I can say is we do stand behind our work. If someone has an issue with a wrap that we have laid down then by all means give us a call and we will make it right. We are not on here to hurt the industry we are here to help it. Say what you want but if you are serious about an issue you have with us then by all means you know our number.

Good luck on the water guys and gals..

Where was this "stand behing our work" in the weeks after you started my boat (that never got finished)? My calls and emails went unanswered. I finally gave up. Now 2 years later you are here to help? Cool, I'll bring it down tomorrow for you to finish. What time do you open?

Mike, I hope they make it right for you man.... it sucks when you pay for a service that don't live up to your expectations . I hope that you get what you paid for in the end. two years is a long time to wait thow!! Let us know what happends.

I am not hiding behind my computer!!! Larry this is Johnny!! You have my number but you already told me that what I got is what I got. Thats not hear say it is in an email from you!! I have waited and kept my mouth shut thinking I might get a call to work this out. I am done waiting!! You had my boat to fix for a week and it looks worse now. I was told the wrap is lifting because I did not clean the boat good enough.
Larry did say bring it back and he will re fix what was fixed. the only fix is to rewrap the boat. I did not pay for something that was pieced together and that is what i got!! I was told by Larry that that was not going to happen!!!
Anyone who wants to see what I am talking about I will gladly show them the boat or send pictures. Then you can decide for yourself!!

Well I guess this makes sense now.. and yes there are two sides to every story.
Johnny, you never gave me a fare shake to finish your boat. This was a holiday weekend that you wanted that boat back and do to the fact I was out sick one of my employees patched a piece in so you can get on the water. Once you decided to bring it back you were insistent on getting the whole boat re-wrapped because you wanted flames to go all the way under the boat not because of a peeling problem.
Just to refresh your memory I told you we don’t normally go that far under the boat but as long as you were ok with a failure point I would do so too keep you happy. Well that never happened and you were determined to get it re wrapped. Once I told you we would get it finished you didn’t want to hear that you wanted the whole boat rewrapped when it was not needed. I was honest with you from the beginning and if slamming me on this forum makes you feel better so be it. Sorry it didn’t work out for the both of us and I wish you well with your new wrap.

I just wanted what i payed for!!! Not what i got! The quality of the wrap has been an issue since day one.. I did not pay for patches and pieces. You should go back and read all the emails that were sent to you! Flames on the bottom of the boat was your idea, because you did not blend the red. The flame on the proof that i approved go back 2 feet further than what i got. Not under the boat!!

Well I still have the e-mails we sent to each other that can back my ordeal up about my outboard cowling what do you have to say about that one?

Just Curious becuase at the time it was quoted $250.00 to match the boat and after 2 weeks and not one call then out of the blue I get the art work e-mailed to me, I get some lame attempt in Purple and no where close to what we both agreed on. I was told to come pick it up and told you were not going to do it for that price

Yea great Cust. Service . NOT

Johnny,
Sorry you feel that way I made an effort to make it right, you and I dont see eye to eye and thats just the way it is. No need to go back and read the same emails whats done is done I know what was said. I offered to make it right (just not re-wrap) the whole boat and it wasnt good enough for you. Sorry it didnt work out..

Mike will be taken care of as far as Johnny goes there is no meeting him half way I tried. To be honest yours is really a bad point, we were dealing with business grwoing issues when yours came in thats why we never got it done. That and wrapping cowlings really isnt something we do every day.

Why not? It may save someone else from making the same mistake. It may also get the offending companies attention and force them to either resolve the issue or look really bad not resolving it.

Just because you had a good exerience with a company doesn't mean that everyone else automatically should have had the same experience you did. I still stand by my statement. I'd prefer to be able to see both the good and the bad experiences people have had with companies so I can make an educated decision. Being affiliated with Mossdale boats, you are likely looking at this from a company perspective and not from the perspective of a consumer.

If you'd prefer to make uneducated choices and blindly purchase services and products, be my guest. I'd prefer to know what I'm getting into. Word of mouth is a powerful tool and I've usually found that where there is smoke, there's fire. If a company is consistently getting bashed (I'm not speaking about the company mentioned in this post, just in general), then it is probably for a good reason. I'd prefer to be able to see exactly how people feel about the service they've received from a company before I potentially spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on their product. Sites like this are a good resource to use to get feel of a company before you use them.

Terry,

I seem to recall giving Will a fishing lesson...or two...up at Shasta YEARS ago. Good times. Had no idea he even had much interest in fishing.
