OSO Reservoir - open to the public??

Post by Brian D. »

Anyone have the inside scoop on this little jewel of Orange County. Many SOCB and socalif guys were members when OSO Bob ran the lake. It's been about 3 years since then the Boy Scouts took it over and no one had access -- at least until the other day while driving on the toll road and there was a boat on the lake. Who can I contact to get the latest info ?

I saw a boat out there also and heard that the Scouts don't have any control over the lake anymore. I wouldn't be too surprised if it's closed to the public, but enjoyed by the Orange County MWD. I sure wish it would open again.

I'm not sure if it's open to the public or not, but it can be sick at Oso. :D
