Lucky craft Staysees 90 hooks?
Lucky craft Staysees 90 hooks?
Trying to buy some replacements. Anyone know what size they are?
Re: Lucky craft Staysees 90 hooks?
They come with 5's but I just put #4's on em. The stock hooks are weak.

Dont forget the red hook for the nose....
Re: Lucky craft Staysees 90 hooks?
Replace with #4 round bend Gamakatsu's. Don't put the EWG on the Staysee they are way too heavy and effect the action. That is the hook that Dobyns tells everyone in his seminars to put on that bait.

Do you guys know what size split rings are on these baits too? I had a striper straighten a hook and bent up a split ring. Now that I know what hook to use I need to know the size split ring!

Re: Lucky craft Staysees 90 hooks?
#4 round bend gammies are correct. Beware of the weight of the split rings you choose. You can try the hyperwire or other brand of aftermarket rings, but you want the weight and hook hang distance to stay very close to the original, or you will change the built in suspend/action.
If you always do what you did, you will always get what you got!
