Lowrance HDS-8 & HDS-10

So now that the Humminbirds are sold I am looking to pick up an HDS-10 & HDS-8. So my question is am I looking for a specific model? I have been told to stay away from insight. I also will probably fish Ca lakes between Clear Lake and Casitas and of course the Delta. I will be looking for the lowest price and shopping around till I find it.

Take a look at Cabelas. There are selling them as packages. It looked like a pretty good deal to me.

Just bought a HDS 7 and used the 75.00 off coupon that was mailed out this month from Cabelas.

Managed to get the HDS-10 for $2,059.00 and the HDS-8 for $1,630.00.
