G Loomis mbr 845c

I picked up the G Loomis mbr 845c and didn't realize how stiff it was until i brought it home. I was going to use it for jigs and such beause I used to have the MBR 864X, but sold it to my best bud. I thought it might relate but seems way stiffer. What is the best use for the 845c besides froggin'?

I use mine to flip in the Delta........
