Lake Piru Water Level
Lake Piru Water Level
In case anyone was wondering..... Piru has come up 69.88 vertical feet in just over 2 months since December 10th last year and it's supposed to get a bunch more from todays' dumping! It is no longer Puddle Piru, but it is Lake Piru again!

Re: Lake Piru Water Level
That's awesome. Piru fishes better with that kind of water IMHO.
A side note: I drove by Casitas to and from Santa Barbara this morning 3/10 .... At 65 Mph it appeared the water is now touching the cement launch ramp at Coyote...
.... I'm staying dry until after next week and then will go figure them out. I hear all kinds of numbers but 52% is the latest. The diverter 100% running and all the creeks and watershed areas are slowly running new courses through and into the lake.

Re: Lake Piru Water Level
Current State Data on Casitas is 50% on the state site. I just drove over to the lake to my eye it's way higher and has filled in a lot of nooks and crannies seems to be a low number for what I'm seeing plus there is no date on the Casitas numbers. Either way they are going to have a run on building permits in Ventura now that it is "over" 50% capacity. This has got to be holding up the water park plans....
