It's been a while.... but they used to love chartreuse Blue back Deep Little N crank baits at that lake. Top water can be good certain times of year and all the rest of the normal stuff.

Good luck

Try Brown Skinny Bear Jigs 3/16 oz and Brown 101 pork. Also try jerk baits on the mud baks early morning. There is a good smallmouth population there.

I was there Sunday and the lake is at 80% capacity. The water was around 51 degrees. About two weeks ago when the weather
was warm the big ones were shallow. I caught 3-5 lbers.
My sunday trip was not so great. The weather was not that warm
and my son fell in the water. Thank goodness for lifejackets!!
We ended up going home early.
If the weather continues to get warm, it is going to be awesome
when you get there.

Here is what I would take.

Zoom Brush hogs/ junebug or anything brown
Blades/ Chartruese/ gold blades ( water has been dirty)
Zipper worms / junebug color
Jigs always work Purple or brown with a pork trailer.
Be aggressive with the retrieve. The bass at Lopez like a
aggressive hop. They usually hit on the fall.
Crankbaits/ rattletraps work also (red)
And don't forget your swimbaits

Whittenburg Arm is good place to start.

Hope this helps,

I second the Deep Little N idea. I've only been there once a couple of summers ago and destroyed em on the red and black DLN on the rocks. Chart and white blades in the brush
