Lake Havasu City-Lake Havasu Fishing Trip

Looking for fishing info on Lake Havasu out of Lake Havast City. Will be visiting area on and off over the winter and need some guidance on the water. Any clubs in the area? Have a boat and fish with a club in Northern California.

Lake Havasu is a great lake. The northern part is a river and fishes like the delta. The southern and middle part is a lake. I would start right near the launch a Windsor Beach there are a lot of tullies and fish cages that hold fish. Dropshots and ripbaits work and flipping the tullies. In the river flipping and reaction baits work. Don't hesitate to throw a swimbait in the lake. The river has a lot of backwater ponds.

Fish cages? Can you ex plain that?

Lake is full of man made fishing habitat IE fish cages. They are located throughout the lake and in some of the backwater ponds in the river. Some are shallow and some are out in 20-30 feet. The water at Havasu is very clear and it will be very easy to see them.
