Oh yeah, got a couple KSS610 for Senkos and KCB610 for Creature Baits. Love them as they are tough and very sensitive and have been in my arsenal for over 5 years. I'd highly recommend them.

Bruizer

Try a KCBS7 for crankbaits, It's all I have used for Speedtraps Rattle Traps and small to mid size crankbaits for the last four years. Its a great rod for the price. I also use the HE66HC for chatterbaits and Super Spooks.

I switched to Kistler rods two years ago, and now that is all I use. Great product line with great warranty. Kistler rods has a pretty good web page that includes testimonials regarding their rods and customer opinions. They have tournament quality rods for around $100 bucks, to really high end top of line super rods. I am very familiar with the entire line, you can PM me if I can answer any questions for you.

The entire line is really good.

I like the Helium I and II rods. Incredibly light and sensitive. Use them for all my worm fishing. The Helium II dropshot rod is crazy light and sensitive.

One of my favorites is the Graphite Plus 7'6" flippin stick. I have five of them and use them for jigs, tubes, frogs, c-rigs and small swimbaits.

I'm assuming Bruiser saw the add in Bassin this month? Wanna go halves on it? I need a flipping stick.

L Dub,

Which add are you referring to?
I sure wouldn't mind getting my hands on a kistler flipping rod!

Dang, and I thought I swung hard :) Breaking rods on the hookset does happen, but to do it that many times is not the norm. I am gonna guess you don't lose many fish when you get a hook in them  I have used the entire LTA line and have not had that problem so I dont know what to tell other than to make sure the rod is in the proper position when you do swing...
Since they are so light, they dont take the abuse we tend to give out when we are in the heat of competition..

I have broke one in three years of heavy use. I think I damaged it before it broke. All it takes is a little unseen damage from taking them in and out of the rod locker the wrong way or stepping on them when they are on the deck to make a weak spot. Eventually it can make the rod weak enough to pop. These are very high performance rods and they cannot be banged around. I am probably to rough on mine and am lucky to have only broken one. They are so light and sensitive they are well worth it. Made my fishing alot better.

The Graphite plus series is a good series at a lower price and I have never broken one in 7 years and I really use them alot and beat them up all the time. Great rods for sure and affordable.

I put away one of the Kistler original Senko Specials as a rod that collectors should want in years to come. I would think it will be on a level with the early Fenwick and Shimano rods.

I have never broken one, but they transmit so much power during the hook set that you need to be careful or you will snap a knot if you are using fluorocarbon line.
