Ive fished is a bunch. There's some GOOD fish in there. I've caught 2's and 3's a bunch and had a couple of 4's and 5s. But I think there's MUCH bigger fish in there, because there really isn't much pressure and a lot of inaccessible shoreline. The thing is that the shore access is pretty minimal. You have to hike in pretty far to get to the easy accessible shoreline. Aside from that spot, it's pretty steep most of the way around the lake. If the water is down, you can hike down and have some open shoreline to roam, but it's still pretty steep.

Yea it's pretty steep for sure and I have only seen a handful of guys fishing it . My biggest there to date is pushing 9 lbs . Didn't have a scale on me but I am usually pretty close on my weights if anything they are always heavier than I think . Never seen any true giants there and starting to suspect that they never planted floridas . Although these fish are all big esp coming off the delta where majority of fish are 1-2 lbs it seems that the standard size here is 3 1/2 lbs . I am starting to think theblake is full of northern bass . They are abit longer and have a smaller mouth than other lakes . I have heard stories of big fish but not from anyone I would call credible. Maybe someone out there knows or I will pull one out that isbin the double digits .

uh, a 9 is NOT a small fish for a lake like Kent, and if you're only getting 1-2 lbers on the Delta, you're hitting the wrong spots. The reservoir systems of Marin County (Kent, Alpine, Bon Tempe, etc) aren't like Clear Lake that averages much bigger fish. And like I said, there's a lot of unpressured places for big bass to live at Kent. The big ones are there.

Used to fish it years ago. I don't know if it has trout anymore. Those Marin lakes are best in the spring especially before fish see presure. Go when it has low light conditions and make your own conclusions. And when someone states that they caught a 10 lber, ask how much it weighed
