Just got a new kick boat

hello all
just got my first kick boat and was wondering if any one had any advice on modifications. I want to put a trolling motor on it any thoughts about the battery size. and trying to figure out some sort of rod holder the one that came with it is no good... Its a colorado 69660. Also i just found out if i put a trolling motor on it im supposed to register it. Any one know the cost of that and just where would I put the CF numbers.

Congrats on your new kick boat. For your trolling motor, get a small 12 volt rechargeable, make a light weight rear deck if you don't already have one. And you'll find several pictures of different rod racks at Bass-N-Tubes.com or scbbbc.com These two sites have forums that a lot of kick boaters go to and reply to. Have a great time on the water in your kick boat.
