Help Where to fish around Anaheim?

Going to Anaheim mon-fri for training but can't take my boat. Need help-Where can I go bass fishing on the bank near there. And what should I take. Thanks for any help.

You might try Puddingstone, its not to far. Jigs, rattle traps and worms. Maybe someone could hook you up at DVL, its further away....but worth it.

Irvine Lake or Irvine County Park. Make sure you stop by Angler's Marine

Easiest place to fish from shore ... the North Lake Park in Irvine (North Lake Park, Irvine, CA 92604). Easy to fish and walk around. Its a community man-made pond. Keep it simple.. dropshot, senkos, blades. Thats all you will need and will definately keep you entertained in the evenings. Fishing for bass at Irvine Lake is very frustrating due to all the trout guys and dense foliage on the bank. Dont waste your time and $40 unless you rent a boat.

Brian is right on here, best shore fishing youll find in the OC - back in the day 3lb for the average fish - I would check out the North Lake then the south :wink:

Anglers Marine does have some nice fish...was there this morning but now im planning to go fishing...just have not decided yet....
