Since you mentioned Skeet. I have not tried it yet but have you looked at the Wright & McGill Tessera S-Curve Md# WMESRST72C1. Bass Pro Shops has them for $89.99.

In general, I've been hearing excellent things about the St. Croix Mojo rods.. I own the Dobyns as previously stated, and only own a couple St. Croix Avids, but a friend of mine is buying Mojo's and seems happy with the decision. Sunday he and I go head to head on the delta, I'll let you know how they compare.

Thanks guys I appreciate the feedback. Dobyns rods are a little too pricey for me. But St. Croix sounds good.

Sktr - You can get the Dobyns Savvy series 735C for $169. It's a great rod at a value price. I see you are in Benecia - if you are ever heading to the Delta, let me know and I can hook you up with a staffer to try one out!

I have a 735 Savvy and a Champion 736. I prefer the 736, gives me more peace of mind when fishing some of the heavier stuff. The 735 would be fine for most situations.
