Fish taxidermy

Post by Bofish »

Hey guys, was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a good taxidermy guy in Northern California. I caught a beautiful spotted bass this last January at bullards and really want to get a replica mount. The fish was 8.83 pounds and almost 24 inches. I have a bunch of pictures, length and weight but no girth. The fish was quickly released unharmed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Bo

While not in Northern CA exactly, but close - Sparks, NV. Check out Stout Innovations on facebook. Brad and his daughter do fantastic work. They recently completed a mount of the current CA state record spotted bass.

Lake fork taxidermy. Texas. They did a replica for me that was unreal. If u have all measurements and several pics ur in business. No worries on shipping, they build this cage within box that is virtually indestructible.
