Dobyns Champion vs. Champion Extreme

Post by jazzwannabe »

Dobyns guys -- is there a noticeable difference between the two series in weight, balance, sensitivity?

what i have noticed with both the extreme and champion is.. They are all well balanced and high quality... When looking at the general purpose of every rod, then matching it to a reel of your preference, you will be EXTREMELY pleased and feel a CHAMPION...

I have noticed the all my rods are very vesitile in many applications, very sensitive and extremely strong. These rods are very enjoyable to fish with. These rods are very high quality. I love the fact that i can pick up my 795 flipping stick, flip all day and not feel any discomfort or strain from this combo.

I got my dad back into fishing this year. I gave him 2 743dx extremes, 1 742dx ectreme and a 734c champion. He goes out to the delta and tossed blades all day. He only got 2 bass on his first trip, but he wasn't working his spinnerbaits. he got the spinnerbaits to work for him. instead of just changing up to another bait, he just keep adjusting from shallow to deep, pitching to long casting, slow rolling to ripping.

I asked him at the end of the day how he liked his rods. He told me he loves them. I can't express how confident he feels fishing with his Dobyns rods!!!
