Delta Senko Colors & Sizes?

What size & color senkos should I have on the boat?

Green Pumpkin/blk flake, green pumpkin/candy flake, black/blue flake.

There are a few others that guys like. I keep it simple.

I never throw 5", always 6" or 7". Basic colors like watermelon red or baby bass usually do well.

I find that it's always whatever size and color the local tackle store is out of.

Red Shad Laminate 5 or 6 six inch. Black and Blue Laminate 5 or 6 six inch. Green Pumpkin Black Flake 5 or 6 inch. DO NOT THROW 4 inch on the Delta!

They will all work but #297 and #325 are very popular in the Delta. I like the 6" as my go to size but I also throw the 7" a lot too.

Green Pumpkin Blk, Black Blue, Green Pumpkin Sprayed Grass, Peanut Butter Jelly - that pretty much covers my rotation. The go to sizes for me are 6" and 7" or wacky rig on the 5" I rarely throw the 5

The size I choose depends on what stage the fish are in that I'm casting too, and the weather. If I'm fishing for transition or pre-spawners, and or it's really windy, I always use the 7". Once they are on beds and in "post spawn", the 6" will draw far more strikes than the larger baits.

As for colors, my box is limited to years of time tested colors here, 021, 208, 297, 301, 330 & 925! 925 is my goto and must have, it's a laminate, the rest are natural colors with slightly different color options and the fish here during the spring will always eat one of them if not all while fending their bedrooms.
