97' Custom Design Concepts Pacific Angler - SOLD

Selling my 18 1/2 ' 1997 custom Pacific Angler from Design Concepts. I bought this 4 yrs ago and simply don't use it, want to get back on The Pond and in a Ranger.

I've had this on the water a dozen times to run gas through it. Was going to sell last year but it ran rough - thus had to put $2k into it replacing the carb, having compression tested, kicker services, etc (see mtc tag-receipt below) but put it off - Selling a used boat is such a JOY! :-). Trying here before putting it in Craig's List - ARGH!

I was told the boat was originally built for a guide in the Redding area - thus the custom fly fishing deck over the motor, drilled for oar locks, etc. It was completely gone through in 2006, replacing all the flooring, seats, and upholstery. The trailer was also replaced w/a custom DHM trailer built for this boat. The dude I bought it from had Boice jet in YC fabricate additional rakes for the hull for handling. I'm certainly no jet guy - wouldn't know the difference (give me a Merc 250 Optimax and I'm good. This - not so much.)

See Pics - I tried to capture everything I could with this boat. When putting these together I realized I didn't get the pump intake or hull. Previous owners definitely ran it skinny - the pump intake cover shows this. The guys at JBT Marine in YS who serviced it says it's purely cosmetic and the boat runs great (they test drove it.)

In addition to the REMOVABLE fly fishing deck, it's got a bimini top-cover for trolling Salmon and a front casting deck w/trolling motor to chase Stripers, resident bass, etc. It's made to fish pretty much everything that runs-lives in the river, maybe with the exception of Sturgeon - to small to stretch out a sleeping bag in and no enclosed top.

I'm looking for $20k and have title in hand. IF you're a bass guy in a 2005 or newer 520 looking to get on the river, I'll consider a trade + cash. I have title-in-hand for a easy, hassle free transaction. I'm retired and can show the boat, take it out for a spin most any time, just need a few hours lead time to get it pulled out of storage (it's been stored inside since I bought it.)

Message me here for contact info

Cheers!
