This weekend I am going to go try my luck throwing some frogs, and need some help as where to start. I have fished the lake several times just not at this time of year so any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks to all!!

Re: Clearlake Question???
Texas, Check the reports. Boy Wonder Rus Snyders reported getting bit on Ribbit, Ribbit up on the North end. I would just put the T-motor down at Tule point and head towards the State Park.
Good luck, Let us know how you did?

Hey Texas John,
Check out Tackle Its web site, the owner Ed goes out all the time and posts his reports on his web site, it looks like State Park to Lakeport is good for anything right now including Frogs, I will be up there 7/11 to 7/13 also, if you can handle the heat I think the fishing will be on fire!!

Re: Clearlake Question???
Hey Mike,
I will be camping at M & M camp ground with my Buddy and my 4 year old daughter, thats the opening to the keys in the Oaks/Rattlesnake arm, I have a Red Nissan Pathfinder and a gray and white 371V Ranger with Red strips. I will be fishing all over, Shag Rock, Rattlesnake Island, Windmill point, Konickti, Jago bay. I have been fishing Clear Lake for 17 years but the last 4 years I have almost lived there:)
Good luck and hopefully we will see you up there.
David

Re: Clearlake Question???
We had good luck on frogs and horny toads in Lake Port in every cove, between docks etc. about 2 weeks ago from about 10:00am on. Followed up the misses with Senkos and got pretty much everyone of them. Mostly post spawn males 2.5-3lbs. Didn't find the bigger fish though.
