Christman Captures SCKA Season Opener on San Vincente - 3/13/21

So Cal Kayak Anglers (SCKA) held their regular season opener on San Vincente Reservoir on Saturday, 3/13/21. 47 anglers came out to see who would secure the first win of the season. The weather was partly cloudy, in the mid-60s with winds up to 13 mph. The water was ultra-clear with visibility at 20 feet and temps in the low 60s. The primary patterns dropshot and neko rig in 15 to 20 feet with a few fish on beds mixed in.
Marc Christman of San Diego captured the title with an 88.25 inch five fish limit that included an 18.75 inch kicker.
Big Fish was a 21.50 incher caught by Clink Freeman of San Diego.
