RV/Camping Spots in Stockton?

Post by BassTraveler »

Where is a safe place to RV/Camp, close to the launch site of the BASS Elite Tournament in Stockton next year.
I have an inquiring Pro that wants to know.
Thanks for your help.

If your launching at Ladd's (Buckley Cove), there is and RV Park right on the water. Unfortunately I am not sure of the name. I know that the launch is operated by the City of Stockton but the RV Park might be privately owned.
Don't ask about my username, all I need to say is check yours and check them often.

I have not been out there for awhile but there was a brand new fenced in RV campground being built in Flag City which is right where Hwy 12 crosses I-5. That puts it about 15 to 20 minutes from the ramp at Ladds. I'm not sure how to find out if its finished yet, but I will see what I can find.

unless that KOA got a make over in the past few years it sucks. I would not stay there.

The campground/marina at Ladds is a good bet but I think they only have a half dozen spaces available.

Don't forget Tower Park has RV spots as well.

Hey Bass Traveler....here ya go!

The name of the RV park next to Ladds is RiverPoint Landing. I stayed there myself a few years back. Pretty good park and you can't get any closer to Ladds......dang near same parking lot! They also had guarded slips with power hookups.
