Bulk Evinrude XD-50

johns custom marine last price i paid was i think 69or 80 bucks for 2.5 gal. something like that i buy it in cases usually 3 when i get my boat serviced every year

Unfortunately Dewayne, the days of local Marina dealers around these parts, carrying the bulk oil, is slipping away. More like passed us by. With the higher costs of shipping those heavy 55 gallon drums of bulk oil and the lack of enough guys purchasing it, the dealers choose not to order and store it anymore. It's a shame, because we used to git 3-5 guys to buy a 55 gal drum of the old OMC oil and it would only cost us about $11.25 a gal! The new XD is so outrageously priced comparatively now.

I just spoke to Mike down at C&C Marine, they do have the XD-50 in the bulk barrels, you bring a jug and the cost is $39.69 per gallon. They also carry the XD-100, but it is not bulk and is sold for $44.99 per Gallon.

I also called and spoke with Christina down at Inland Marine, they do not have the bulk, and sell the XD-50 in the regular gallon factory jugs for $35. The XD-100 is also $44.99 a gallon.

$40 a gallon for bulk!!!! I can get it by the gallon cheaper. The price of oil alone is going to drive everyone to 4 stroke motors. Sounds like I will have to start ordering it on-line.

I don't know how you guys like Amsoil but I have put almost 400.000 miles on cars with that stuff. They also make good TCW-3 oils for outboards. If you join the preferred customer program and pay the $10.00 you can get the oil for the same price as the stores.

I bought a 30 gallon drum for about $17.00 a gallon and they have great deals on shipping. It cost me $48.00 to get that drum shipped from they're warehouse in Las Vegas to Oak view by lake Casitas and it showed up the next day. Hope this helps as it is the best deal I've found so far and you can buy in larger containers and get it even cheaper.

Thanks for the tip. I just ordered a 6 pack from them and withshipping it came out to around 28 dollars which is still cheaper by 4 bucks than I can buy bulk in Lakeport.

Whats the website you use for amsoil are you useing there site or buying from another party fixing to order fully synthetic DIFF OIL and TRANY OIL. it will be the 1st time using it. usually use LUCAS but the test score AMSOIL higher

Call the Nevada warehouse and tell them you want to join the preferred customer program. I joined through a dealer and don't remember who but hopefully the Nevada warehouse will set you up. They will mail you a packet with a form for the preferred customer program and then you send it back with $10.00. They will mail you back your preferred customer number that you will need for ordering. then you can call the warehouse and order. The Nevada warehouse # is (702) 644-2060 and once you are a preferred customer you get the same price as a dealer and the larger quantity you order the cheaper it gets.
