Boat storage in/around Seattle-Lake Sammamish

Post by Guest »

Question for the forum for those few that live in the Seattle area.

Can anyone recommend a good boat storage area that is convenient to Lake Sammamish? There's a good chance that I'm relocating from the SF Bay Area to the Seattle/Bellevue area within the next couple of weeks and I need to figure out where to store my boat. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I lived in Seattle for a number of years. Sammamish is sorta in the sticks, but Scott, owner of Three Rivers Marine in Woodinville, WA lives out that way and I'm sure he would know. Scott and Dave at 'Three Rivers' are the river kings. They have everything from the boats, to rods/reels, and all the tackle. They are also the best guides in the area for salmon and steelhead!

Three Rivers Marine
24300 Woodinville-Snohomish Rd.
Woodinville, WA 98072
425-415-1575

I know your a bass guy, so you already know about the monster smallmouth.

Good Luck

The East side of Lake Washington is only 6 or so miles from Sammamish..... just under the I 90 bridge on the south side is lots of storeage & a excellant launch.
It has been about 5 years since i fished there & dont remember the names , but i will get more info for you asap.
Sammamish is a good fishery, but the water is so clear the fish see you & the fishing is tough.
Lake Washington is where you need to concentrate... TOTALLY AWSOME fishery.........i can tell you some places & techniques there.
Also there are several bass clubs there.
One of the Bass clubs claim to be the oldest in the the U.S.
Also, you might contact Jeff Priester, owner of Nixons Marine ( advertiser on this forum ) .
He has a sattelite dealership in S. Seattle / Tacoma area,& has lots of local info, as does the manager of his store.
Jeff is a class act. been knnowing him since 1977.
In the middle of Lake Wash, at the drain , i once caught two 5 lb. smallies on back to back casts.
If you do get to tranxfer ther all i can say is LUCKY YOU ! ! !
Wise men STILL seek Him....
