just caught...Anybody else see that on his show a few back?...Something to do with parasites...Wonder if he spoke to Jimmy Houston about this?...

There would be a very, very, very, slim chance of contracting pathogens that would affect humans from kissing a bass, and the most remote chance would be some sort of bacterial agent. Still highly unlikely, since most bacterial pathogens affecting bass are water based, and would not be able to culture in the human environment.

Unless there is some newly discovered pathogen in the southeast that is able to affect people that I don't know about!

Not worry, in fact kissing those bass just turns them on and they all start biting better.

Jimmy has nothing on Zona. That guys can flat out mack with a fish. Gotta love his show.

Shad, I think you would be in much more danger of catching some sort of parasite by mounting that bass!

A little kiss never hurt anyone, except maybe the fish may be tramatized for some period of time!
You got to wonder what those bass do when they get back down on the bottom after being kissed by some ole fat, furry lipped, smelly jelly smellin bass fisherman; wash its mouth out? Hum, makes you think don't it!
Kiss em and release em, just dont make em any promises you cant keep!
There were some rumors out there about a few of the C&C Marine guys doing some night fishin just for the opportunity of kissin some Cat Fish; to each their own!
