What's the line you guy's perfer for froggin' and flippin'? I'm curious what the best line is for your buck and if any of the lines are a better deal than their competitors.
Thanks

Re: best braided line
I would bet that the majority use and will tell you Power Pro. It is good line, but I prefer Stren braid. Just seems to work on the reel better to me. Color stays longer and I have less little mishaps with it. Bill K

PowerPro -
For me it's PowerPro. I use it because I don't have to give it a second thought - will the knot hold? is it nicked? will it backlash if I skip that frog under that tree?
I started getting really into frogs 3 years ago... at that time I read somewhere that Dobyns used it and thought who am I to reinvent the wheel? So started using it... check to "ask Gary" section on the front page too....
Since then I've tried others mentioned here as well as Pline's version to try and save a few bucks but finely figured that after forking out $500 - $700 in entry fees and option dollars, is it worth second guessing - or even thinking about a line for 4 or 5 bucks? While those are all fine products I'm sure, I've always come back to Powerpro.
There's something about the line itself that allows me to execute casts more efficiently - particularly skipping and longer casts. Might be the line coating - don't know. But if you've ever skipped a line under a bush or made that extra long cast to the backside of a mat, then looked down at a bird's nest in your reel while hearing that gah-boooosh while your frog is enhailed.... then spit out, that's why I use Powerpro - for me, it peforms the best.

Re: best braided line
Izor or Jerry Brown hollow braided spectra because you can splice your fluoro leader in it (like Chinese fingercuffs) without knots...
